We have launched our two-year ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan (2024-2026) which focuses on strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples whilst engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation.

It marks a significant milestone for our department as it aligns with our strategic vision and outlines specific actions and initiatives across four RAP pillars of Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance that will continue to drive positive change within our department and in the wider community.

It includes:

  • commitments to employment opportunities
  • empowered and engaged workforce
  • procurement from Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander businesses
  • cultural awareness training, and community engagement

It’s a plan that will continue leading us towards a future of greater understanding, inclusivity, and shared prosperity.
